USB interface with Behringer audio products

Mon Sep 06, 2021 2:52 am

I am using Raspberry Pi 4. I am looking for a USB audio device that could work with Raspberry Pi to capture 8-channel audio files using PulseAudio interface. I found a candidate device: Behringher UMC1820 (https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=P0B2J). However I'm not sure whether it is compatible with Raspberry Pi. I found a video from youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kd77aJBGYjg) showing how to use Behringer UMC404 (a 4-channel version of the same brand) on Raspberry Pi. However, at the end of the video, it shows that the captured file is only dual-channel.

Can anybody suggest a USB audio device that could work with Raspberry Pi for capturing 8-channel files using PulseAudio interface? Thank you very much.

I am using the SoX Lib interface and have been using Behringer XR18, Focusrite Scarelett 4/4, Zoom 24i and Mackie DL16/32S to record multitrack channels with my RP4 over USB.

Have a look at www.z-liverec.com
